Our Story
Goat Ridge Roofing was founded by husband and wife team Andy and Jenny Esquivel with one simple belief: treat people the way you would want to be treated. As a family-owned roofing company based in Abilene, we take pride in being straightforward, dependable, and easy to work with.
Before starting Goat Ridge Roofing, Andy spent years traveling across the country working within the insurance industry. That experience gave him a clear view of both sides of the process. In some cases, insurance carriers did not fully honor what homeowners were entitled to. In others, contractors took advantage of the public for their own gain.
Seeing that firsthand shaped the kind of company we wanted to create. We believe homeowners deserve honest guidance, clear communication, and fair treatment.
Taking advantage of people, especially seniors and single homeowners, is something we will never be a part of. Your roof protects more than a structure. It protects your home, your family, and your peace of mind. That responsibility is something we take seriously on every project.
Beyond the roofing side of the business, Goat Ridge Roofing has truly become a family-built company in every sense. As Andy’s wife, Jenny stepped into the business determined to help grow the company from the ground up. Over time, she taught herself marketing, SEO, website management, content writing, social media strategy, and graphic design to help strengthen the company’s presence both online and within the community.
From the educational blogs and website content to the graphics, branding, and social media posts customers see today, each piece is thoughtfully created in-house with the goal of building trust, educating homeowners, and creating a business that feels personal, honest, and community-focused.
Together, Andy and Jenny continue working side by side to grow Goat Ridge Roofing with the same values they built their family around: hard work, honesty, communication, and genuinely caring for the people they serve.
